Manchester United transfer news LIVE: Dean Henderson update, Ronaldo wants United target at Juventus, Dybala and Pogba in swap, big Niguez offer planned

Man United youngster Tahith Chong is reportedly close to agreeing a season-long loan move to Werder Bremen.

The 20-year-old Dutchman signed a new contract at Old Trafford earlier this year, but it seems he'll have to wait to get his chance in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team.

However, it's expected a player of Chong's quality will get the game time he needs at Bremen, where severe financial difficulties means the German club are having to rely on free transfers and loan deals to bulk out their squad.

There appears to have been a surprise development that suggests Manchester United have made a decision over the David de Gea/Dean Henderson debate.

Reports on Saturday morning claim Bournemouth have accepted an £18.5m offer from Sheffield United for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Spending that sort of money on a new keeper certainly suggests Henderson will NOT be heading back to Bramall Lane this summer as the club had hoped.

So what does this mean for the future of De Gea?

Given Henderson's form for the Blades over the past two seasons, could we see a new No.1 at Old Trafford this season?

Manchester United have officially released their new away kit for the 2020/21 season.

It features a subtle 'hand-drawn' camouflage pattern that is woven into the texture of the shirt, which has been designed in the colours of the original Newton Heath team.

“Roots run deep,” reads the club statement. “This Manchester United away jersey throws it back to the club's early days…”

Good morning Red Devils! Here’s all the latest Man United transfer news and gossip, just in time for your Saturday morning fry-up!

Manchester United are considering a stunning swap deal that would see Paul Pogba leave Old Trafford and Juventus star Paulo Dybala move the other way, according to reports in Italy.

The Red Devils are also ready to offer Spain midfielder Saul Niguez a long-term contract worth £150,000-a-week to sign from Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old is rated at £70m.

United have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, with reports claiming Cristiano Ronaldo wants Juventus to sign the Mexican star to be his new strike partner.

COVID-19 travel restrictions could scupper Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek’s next move, with Man United and Real Madrid both interested in the 23-year-old Dutchman.

Newcastle have joined the race to sign Chris Smalling this summer. The 30-year-old has returned to Old Trafford after his impressive loan spell at Roma, and is also a target for his former club Fulham.

United’s on-loan striker Odion Ighalo has no interest in joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer. It is claimed the French giants are interested in the 31-year-old Nigerian, who is on loan from Shanghai Shenhua until January and has five goals in 18 appearances this season for the Red Devils.

Good evening, Manchester United fans. The Red Devils are reportedly set to complete a deal for Partizan Belgrade wonderkid Filip Stevanovic.

Outlet Republika claim that the Red Devils will pay a sum of £10.8million to prise the 17-year-old wonderkid away from the Serbian outfit, but also report he will be loaned back for the 2020/21 campaign.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are set to revive their interest in Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, according to the Daily Star.

Niguez, 25, is rated at £70m and rumoured to be considering his future in Spain.

Meanwhile, reports in Italy suggest new Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has identified Paul Pogba his top transfer target this summer.

According to Tuttosport, Paulo Dybala could be offered to the Red Devils as part of a deal to lure Pogba back to Serie A.

Manchester United are reportedly set to revive their interest in Saul Niguez.

The Red Devils eyed the Atletico Madrid man last summer but failed to strike a deal.

Niguez, 25, is rated at £70m and rumoured to be considering his future in Spain.

Now, according to the Star, United would be willing to hand Niguez a long-term deal worth £150,000-a-week.

It's claimed he has become 'disillusioned' at Atletico and criticised his side's display following the 2-1 defeat to RB Leipzig which saw them knocked out of the Champions League this week.

He said: “It hurts to lose, but our rivals were better in the game. They raised the tempo and we did not know how to react. They were superior to us, and at times we were not even close to stopping them.”

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Serbian winger Filip Stevanovic.

Outlet Republika claim that the Red Devils will pay a sum of £10.8million to prise the 17-year-old wonderkid away from Partizan Belgrade.

They also claim Stevanovic will be loaned back to the Serbian club for another season before linking up with the Premier League giants.

Rio Ferdinand has been told he owes Liverpool starlet Trent Alexander-Arnold ‘a massive apology’ after making a bold claim about Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.

Speaking earlier this week, former centre-back Ferdinand was adamant Sancho, 20, is the ‘best’ young player in the world ‘bar none’.

And Drivetime host Adrian Durham has called out the ex-United star over his claim, saying he should say sorry to Alexander-Arnold, who was named the Premier League’s Young Player of the Year on Friday.

talkSPORT host said: “Yesterday we talked in the ‘headsgone’ about Rio Ferdinand describing Jadon Sancho as the best young player in the world BAR NONE…

“We highlighted Kylian Mbappe, but you could easily throw in Trent Alexander-Arnold as well.

“Rio is plain wrong with that and he should give a massive apology to Trent Alexander-Arnold because he’s been breath-taking.

“It’s not just the end product and the quality of what he does in a team that’s winning stuff, it’s the fact he’s so mature and at such a young age as well.

“As an Englishman, I’m feeling very excited about what an England manager can do with a talent like Trent Alexander-Arnold.”

Reports in Italy suggest new Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has made Paul Pogba his top transfer target this summer.

According to Tuttosport, Paulo Dybala could be offered to the Red Devils as part of a deal to lure Pogba back to Serie A.

However, Manchester United plan to enter talks with the Frenchman over a new contract once their Europa League campaign ends.
